This is perhaps one of the most widely used plugin among WordPress users. It offers a comprehensive solution to all your major SEO needs. It lets you generate meta tags, and optimize your titles for Search Engines. It also lets you select SEO keywords for your blog posts. I think it’s a must-have for every blogger.
3. SEO Smart Links
This tool automatically finds keywords and phrases in your posts and links them to other related posts on your site. It also allows you to add attributes like ‘nofollow‘. Search Engines like inter-linking pages. Hence it increases your page rank.
4. SEO Friendly Images
Images can drive a lot of traffic to a blog. So you should optimize your images as well and not only your text content. This small tool automatically updates all images’ ALT and TITLE descriptions. Handy if you are short on time or forgot to add alt and title descriptions. But for titles, you must name your images meaningfully. For example, I named the image at the top “WordPress SEO Plugins.jpg”. Don’t use names like “image007.jpg” or similar.
5. Google XML Sitemaps
This one is a must-have for your blog. It creates a sitemap for your site that is compatible with all the major search engines like Google, Yahoo!, Bing etc. This helps crawlers and search bots to better index your pages, hence increasing your website traffic. This tool also submits any new blog posts you write to search engines.
6. Scribe SEO
Scribe SEO acts like a checklist for your SEO. It checks your post titles, keywords, images’ alt tags, meta descriptions etc, and tells you what part needs optimization. This is very handy if you need to optimize your old posts.

Search engines do not appreciate duplicate content. They see you as a spammer if they find some. This tool will check all your content, and inform you if there is any duplicate content present.

Whenever you get a backlink, search engines don’t know immediately. They need to be notified about it. 9. Broken Link Checker
This plugin will let you know about all broken links (404 error links), internal or external, on your blog. That way, you can take action regarding any dead-end your visitors might land at.

You can use a number of plugins (Backup buddy is a good one) to do this, or if you trust your hosting company, there is often a file and database backup utility within your cpanel.2) Update plugins. This one is easy. Go to your plugins and look for any that need to be updated. All you need to do is click the update button and you’re done.3) Make sure you have the latest version of WordPress. WordPress will tell you on your dashboard if you need to upgrade. Simply follow the instructions – it’s not difficult.4) If you’re not using the akismet plugin, you can get it here – AKISMET . This will protect your site from spam.
Nice list of plugins Qasim!! But you should Give the no 1 position to all in one seo not seo of yoast. since Yoast’s seo plugin have some problem with site title. And all in one seo is the most downloaded wordpress plugin ever. So it is better to give the no 1 position to all in seo. By the way what are you using in your website;- yoast seo or all in one seo. Sorry for long comment.
